holidaze: sequin responsibly

sequins season is upon us! i've been on the hunt for an inexpensive sparkly party dress for some years now. this one is by Topshop and newly on sale, and might just be the ticket to take me through the new year. i rather like the simple design – it balances out the sparkle. thinking of pairing it with some peachy patent oxfords, minimalist diamond earrings and necklace. topping everything off with a pop of bright lipstick and my go-to SA mini bag.

do you have any sequin-y things? what are you wearing to your holiday parties?

  1. That really is a pretty dress :) It is too bad Topshop doesn't ship to Norway anymore, because they usually have some good stuff!

  3. I have a sequins top, it's lanvin-esque and 6 years old. I never get to wear it, but I've always held onto it.

    2. Can't believe this post is 4 yrs old, but here it is. I have to get the closure on those pants fixed before I can recreate that outfit.

  4. I have more sequin-y things than I actually thought I had which kind of surprised me as I never took myself for being a very dressy person. Love the combination shown especially the shoes which are so unusual. Gives a fun vibe to the whole outfit.

Plan to wear it with a black button front from Old Navy, black calf Simple 70 Louboutins, and so many bangles you'll hear me coming for miles.
