lookbook: grey cashmere and suede

we're not out of the winter woods yet, so today i'm staying cozy with my grey cashmere pullover, everyday necklacefavorite jeans, trusty suede satchel, and neutral pumps. comfortable, but still pulled-together enough. (i'm wearing the men's XS, you could size up to an S even and it wouldn't be too big.)

what are you wearing today?

  1. love your pumps! May I ask who makes them? Are they comfy? I am looking for something similar, mid heel & comfy for everyday wear.

  2. Wonderful - I love it! And I also got my men's XS grey cashmere jumper today, it's a lighter grey than yours and has a v neck which is better for me. Can you handwash yours or is it dry clean only, may I ask?
Today I wore mid blue skinny jeans and a tee underneath a man's Chambray shirt which I wear as a tunic - so easy!
I wear pointy kitten heels or my new brogues when not in ankle boots but I NEED some great pumps like yours!

    1. i think it's dry clean only on the tag, though for knits (esp cashmere) i think a gentle cashmere shampoo would also be fine.

  3. I love this kind of easy look. And the grey cashmere sweater is just lovely. I have an old men's charcoal grey cashmere jumper which I've accidentally shrunk and it is now like a felted boiled wool jumper but still too good to throw out. I actually quite like its new texture and it does actually fit me better than it did when I first bought it. The weather has turned again over here - not quite ready for the pumps yet.

  7. Simple yet so chic. Never thought to buy a men's extra small sweater. I wore skinny jeans with a fitted grey sweater. Think I need a baggier one now. : )

  9. Lovely! I love the fit of men's jumpers but I need a bit more decolletage on show than that - just the collar bones. I wore black cigarette pants with a taupe breton and black loafers for work and now I;m wearing slim mid-blue Levis and a slouchy sky blue fisherman's jumper (with nubuck ankle boots when I go out).

  10. Awesome! I've been waiting to see you in the sweater, I've been eyeing it ever since you posted it. Am I the only one cheering for winter to hang around? I'll be snowboarding til April ;-)

  11. The cognac suede looks so pretty with the sweater! Love your oufit, and I can't believe that I never got those pumps! I've also been wearing a grey cashmere sweater today, with a collarless shirt, skinny jeans and Dicker boots. My new favourite combination!

  12. The sweater looks so lovely! If I wasn't trying to stop shopping I would probably be rather quite inclined to try and pick one up for myself. The colour of your jeans is positively dreamy by the way, where did you pick those up from? x
