I am wondering about the sizing because I am a 2/4 and I was thinking of getting the XS but I don't want it to be skin tight, and it looks like I might go for the S but will get a larger size if it is still going to be tight. Is the XS still loose but fitted on you? And is it very low cut?

Also do you have the white one? I am wondering if it's transparent.
i generally am a 0-2/XS (sometimes a S) in designer sizing, and i have the ryan tanks in the XS. the tanks are a slouchy style in general. so yes, i find them just slouchy enough while still being somewhat fitted in the right areas (ie: around the armholes). the neckline is cut a bit deeper than some of the other tees, but they're not too low-cut IMO. i tried on the ryan short-sleeved tee in S and found that neckline to be very low-cut, so i ended up returning it. if you're taller, you might want to consider the S for the longer length. i would go by the model/fit measurements on everlane's website for reference.

i do have the tank in white, and while it's a lightweight jersey fabric, it's not completely sheer (though a very dark bra may show through a wee bit).

do they run true to size? do you find that your isabel marant ankle boots get dirty easily or pick up dye from your jeans?

i'm a pretty consistent US 6.5 and always take a 37 in the IM boots. so if you're a half size go up to the next whole size, if you're a true whole size take your regular size (US 6.5-7 = 37, US 7.5-8 = 38, etc)

in terms of dye transfer, not particularly. i've worn them now for over 2.5 years, and they are still holding up well! even though suede will always be more prone to soiling and staining, if you treat it properly when it's new, it is as durable as leather IMO. see my post on shoe care and my review of the Marant boots for more tips and sizing.

how does the sizing run on these?

i've always sized up to the next whole size, so as i'm a 6.5 i take the 37s in these and there's enough room for thin/mid-thickness socks as well.

Hi, I was wondering if you could help me out with Steven Alan reverse seam sizing as I know you are a fan. I am about the same size as you and close to 5'6, do you think the size small would work?

see my post on my SA shirts.

i am usually an XS/0-2 and i can wear the XS/P size in SA reverse seam, but i prefer the S for the bit of extra slouch and drape.

it mostly depends on your shoulder and bust measurement. the reverse seam shirts tend to run small around the chest area (there's no darting or seaming so it's basically a straight fit). the fit of the SA reverse seam shirts for women is basically a shrunken 'boy shirt' fit. slim around the shoulders and arms, and a slightly boxy straight cut through the torso. the single-needle shirts are cut a bit more generously, and their 'boyfriend shirts' are also a slouchier chic option.

SA has measurements posted on their website for the shirt styles, so that should hopefully help you get a sense of how it would map to your measurements! but you should definitely try a SA shirt on as depending on your torso and height, the S may also run a little short length-wise.
